DoodyCalls for a Cause: Community Pet Supply Drives 2025
Give Back with DoodyCalls: Three Weeks, Three Rescues, One Amazing Cause
This October, we’re teaming up with three incredible rescue organizations across Manatee, Pinellas, and Sarasota counties. Each week, we’ll collect supplies to support their lifesaving work—and we need your help!
Campaign Schedule
- Week 1: Oct 6–12, 2025 – Humane Society of Manatee County (Bradenton, FL)
- Week 2: Oct 13–19, 2025 – FLUFF Animal Rescue (Seminole, FL)
- Week 3: Oct 20–26, 2025 – Satchel’s Last Resort (Sarasota, FL)
Each week is focused on a different rescue. We’ll provide donation bins at local businesses, promote their wish lists, and handle pickups—all you have to do is drop off or ship your donations!
Week 1: Humane Society of Manatee County
Bradenton, FL
The Humane Society of Manatee County has been a compassionate voice for animals in Bradenton since 1971. As a no-kill, nonprofit animal welfare organization, they do far more than adoptions—offering full-service veterinary care, community wellness clinics, education programs, and a second chance for thousands of pets each year.
HSMC believes every animal deserves love, safety, and dignity. Their team works tirelessly to keep pets with their families whenever possible, and to provide quality care and humane sheltering when it’s not.

Week 2: FLUFF Animal Rescue
Pinellas Park & Seminole, FL
FLUFF stands for “From Lonely and Unloved to Forever Family,” and it’s not just a slogan—it’s their mission. This foster-based, volunteer-powered rescue pours love into every animal they take in, giving second chances to dogs and cats facing euthanasia, abandonment, or abuse.
FLUFF believes in removing barriers to adoption with their “Adopters Welcome” policy and ensures every pet is set up for lifelong success. They also provide vital community education and support to reduce shelter overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership.

Week 3: Satchel’s Last Resort
Sarasota, FL
Satchel’s isn’t your typical rescue—it’s a true sanctuary for dogs and cats who need more time, more care, or simply don’t fit the mold. Their philosophy is grounded in respect and compassion, especially for animals labeled “unadoptable” elsewhere due to fear, medical conditions, or misunderstood behavior.
Founded in 2002, Satchel’s Last Resort is a beacon of hope for animals who’ve run out of options. Whether they stay for a few months or the rest of their lives, every pet receives quality care, safety, enrichment, and unconditional love.
