Why San Marcos Dog Owners Choose DoodyCalls® of North County Metro

We focus solely on pet waste removal. With more than 25 years helping homeowners keep yards clean and safe, we’ve built a process that works.

No contracts are required. You can start, pause, or stop service without paperwork or penalties. Every visit is backed by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and service plans are customized to fit your yard size, the number of dogs you have, and how often you need a cleanup. Our technicians are fully insured, background checked, and uniformed, arriving in branded vehicles, so you know who’s in your yard. We’re also committed to disposing of pet waste properly and responsibly, not just moving the problem somewhere else.

What Happens During a Dog Poop Pickup Visit

Here’s exactly what a scheduled visit looks like. Our technician walks your yard in a grid-like pattern, scanning back and forth in overlapping passes to catch every deposit. When that walkthrough is done, they complete a second walk-through to double-check the yard for anything missed the first time.

Collected waste goes into a scooping receptacle lined with a fresh waste bag, then is double-bagged and tied with a secure knot. Bags are placed in either your garbage can or the technician’s vehicle for disposal, whichever you prefer. Before moving to the next property, technicians clean and disinfect their tools and shoes to prevent cross-contamination between yards.

One practical note: DoodyCalls® of North County Metro does not provide service inside residences and requires direct outside access to the yard. A side gate that latches from outside or a separate yard entrance works perfectly.

Pick the Schedule That Fits Your Household

We offer twice-weekly, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly services, plus on-demand or one-time cleanup for situations that don’t call for a recurring plan. Moving into a new place with a yard full of mystery deposits? A one-time cleanup gets you starting fresh. Two large dogs and a small yard? Twice-weekly visits keep things manageable. Tell us what you need, and we’ll match the right frequency to your household.

Why Regular Pet Waste Removal Matters in San Marcos, CA

San Marcos sits in northern San Diego County, where yards get real outdoor use year-round. That makes regular dog poop removal more than a cleanliness habit.

Dog waste isn’t a fertilizer. Left in place, it can damage grass, harm vegetable gardens, and introduce bacteria that linger in soil. It’s also classified as an environmental pollutant, capable of washing into storm drains and local waterways during rain. Unattended waste attracts rodents and flies and creates health hazards for anyone who uses the yard. Many San Marcos HOAs and neighborhood covenants also require residents to remove pet waste from their own properties, not just public spaces.

Regular service can help you stay compliant, support a healthier lawn, and keep your yard more usable.
