DoodyCalls of Corpus Christi was originally launched in early 2023 by Devan K., a member of the United States Navy who was stationed in Corpus Christi at the time. What began as a new franchise quickly gained momentum as the community embraced the service and recognized the value of reliable, professional pet waste removal. Due to a pending transfer in his Navy career, Devan made the decision to sell the franchise to Chris G., a retired U.S. Army officer who proudly served more than 20 years as a Combat Engineer officer. Chris brings a strong background in leadership, accountability, and operational excellence to the business. 

Chris is married to Riki, a marketing professional with Houston Methodist Hospital, and together they have two children, Ben and Juliana. The family also includes two German Shorthaired Pointers, Mack and Birdie, who keep life active and reinforce the importance of clean, safe outdoor spaces. With family ties in the area and the opportunity for a slower pace of life, the Graves family relocated from Houston to Corpus Christi—finding the move to be a perfect fit for both business and family life.

 A key member of our team is Jonas, who has been with DoodyCalls for over two years. Jonas is our resident expert in pet waste removal and takes great pride in ensuring every job is done right. He’s a familiar and trusted face to many of our customers. Jonas is also a proud father to his daughter, Josefine, and a devoted dog owner himself—so he understands firsthand how important clean, safe outdoor spaces are for families and pets.
