6th Annual Golfin' for Dogs

DoodyCalls of the Treasure Coast was at the 6th Annual Golfin’ For Dogs Fundraiser hosted by Barkin’ For A Park.

It was a beautiful day at Piper’s Landing Yacht and Country Club, Palm City. We were able to spread the word of our locally-owned Pet Waste Management Company to the many generous attendees. Many of whom, were interested in our Pet Waste Station Sales and Service and sought information to take back to their communities.

Barkin’ For A Park is truly a GEM of the community. Many people don’t realize the Dog Parks we use and love are not solely the work of Stuart or Martin County. Two (soon to be three!) exist because of Barkin’ and their fundraising efforts. I will happily include some information on the Charity below, sourced from their website:

About Barkin’ For A Park:

Barkin’ for a Park began with a simple belief: dogs thrive when they have room to run, play, and socialize—off leash and out in the open.

In 2012, founder Chuck Smith partnered with the City of Stuart to bring that vision to life. What started as an idea became reality with the opening of our first off-leash dog park at Poppleton Creek, followed by a second location at Haney Creek. Both parks are open to the public, free of charge, and built to foster community—one tail wag at a time.

As a nonprofit, we rely on the generous support of local residents, businesses, and volunteers. From maintaining the parks to hosting fundraisers like our annual Golfin’ for the Dogs tournament, every effort helps keep our mission alive.

100% of donations and event proceeds go directly toward park maintenance, improvements, and expansion. Our next goal? Opening a brand-new off-leash dog park in Palm City.

Many ‘Thank You’s to Barkin’ For A Park and it’s wonderful Board Members.

See You Again Soon,

-D.C.
