Reggie and I have always wanted to own a business, but when we first heard about DoodyCalls we laughed.  Then we did our homework and discovered it was a great fit for us.  We love animals, the outdoors and helping our community.  Pet waste is not a good fertilizer and removing it becomes a time-consuming task for busy people who would rather use the time spent scooping having fun with family and friends.  DoodyCalls is the answer, for both pet owners and the community.  We service HOAs, and clean the lawns of commercial buildings, parks, common areas, residential yards and more.  If you have a pet waste removal problem, we can definitely help.

In addition to working as a “professional pooper scooper,” Reggie works for the United States Postal Service.  He has always helped people and loves being of service.  Through our church, The Fountain Foursquare Church of Moorpark (our son Reggie Mercado is the pastor), Reggie leads the bLight Lifters, a team of graffiti removers who patrol the streets of Moorpark.

Before becoming a pet waste removal professional I had some fascinating jobs.  One was cleaning the homes of famous entertainers.  I have worked in sales, for schools, at Lockheed Aerospace and for Blue Cross.  I am retired now, and I continue to love gardening and just being outside, but I am also a very active grandmother, mother, and wife.

Reggie and I love camping and fishing (I can out-fish Reggie, don't tell him I said that).  We are very involved in our grandchildren’s lives and activities, from sports to dance recitals.  My husband spent many years coaching our sons and now assists with our grandkids’ sports.  He had a long baseball career himself, winning 4 championship tournaments.  We are also the proud parents of two wonderful sons: our eldest son, John, is a sergeant with the Pasadena Police Department and our younger son Reggie is a pastor.
