Mayor Halfacre to Wear Oversized Dog Costume

February, 2011—The newly launched local pet waste removal service, DoodyCalls, will receive quite the endorsement from Mayor Halfacre on February 15th, in celebration of the business' ribbon cutting ceremony on the steps of the Lexington (SC) Chamber. Playing the role of "Doodles" during the event, Halfacre will sport one of the company's oversized, bright orange dog costumes.

Mayor Halfacre agreed to get into character after a casual request made by DoodyCalls founder, Jeff Bolen, at a recent Chamber meeting. Bolen, who usually dons the large, cartoonish costume, says he's happy to pass the torch.

"I can't think of a better candidate to suit up as 'Doodles'," he says.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, February 15th at 4:00 PM at the Lexington Chamber.
