  • Another Chance Animal Rescue is made up of a group of people who love animals and foster them in their own homes. They are currently accepting applications for new foster homes to care for many of the animals that have to be kept outside.
  • Nashville Humane Association is located at 213 Oceola Ave. Nashville, TN  37209. They are committed to finding responsible homes and controlling pet overpopulation while promoting the humane treatment of animals. There are a variety of events held each year to benefit the Nashville Humane Association including Portraits by Grannis, Bow Wow Brunch, and Microchip Clinic.
  • Chinese Crested Club of Nashville is dedicated to the welfare of this breed. Through education, rescue efforts and the promotion of events, this non-profit organization is getting the word out about this wonderful breed.
  • Metro Nashville Animal Control is located at 5125 Harding Place, Nashville, TN 37211. They not only help in rescuing animals and finding wonderful homes for them, they also have a program called HEEL (Helping to Educate and Enhance Lives). They pair offenders with dogs at their facility for 8 weeks. The offenders keep the dog in their cell and are given instruction on basic obedience training, housebreaking, and socialization. The dogs in this program are well trained and socialized which helps them be more adoptable! The offenders also learn marketable dog training skills.
  • Sylvan Bark Poodle Rescue fosters and places Poodles and other animals to loving homes. They are funded by running a dog daycare, training, grooming, and charging adoption fees. They are especially fond of the Poodle breed and making sure all animals are vaccinated and well cared for.
  • Music City Pug Rescue is committed to the holistic care of Pugs. They hope to help the community understand the breed and promote benefits of the special care and training of Pugs.
