Animal Aid, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose basic premise is to relieve and prevent the suffering or death of our non-human friends from accident, starvation or disease. Animal Aid helps in areas not covered by other tri-county agencies and supported entirely through donations, which are tax deductible. Animal Aid has pets for adoption and low-cost spay/neuter coupons.

The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, no-kill cat shelter with its own full service veterinary hospital on-site. CAT’s mission is to work with the community to save the lives of homeless, sick and injured cats and kittens by offering shelter, adoption, foster, hospice, spay/neuter and veterinary services to end needless feline euthanasia.

Pawsitively Pit Bull is an advocacy group that believes the pit bull needs support due to negative stereotypes, and as supporters of the pit bull, have worked to regain their positive reputation since 2000.
POPPA
POPPA, Inc., Pet Over-Population Prevention Advocates, is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation working to reduce the number of homeless companion animals in Oregon by distributing funds for spay/neuter assistance. The money for these services is raised through individual and corporate donations. Over 13,000 companion animal spay or neuter surgeries have happened with POPPA's help since 2001.

SCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit pet adoption and referral organization dedicated to helping find deserving homes for animals in SW Washington and the Portland metro area who are homeless, or about to be homeless. They are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers. Second Chance Companions does not run an independent shelter, instead they maintain a list of hundreds of pets just waiting to have a family of their own.
