Local Laws and Ordinances that Affect Dog Owners

• Town of Plainville, Massachusetts Dog Licensing - Dog Licenses are issued at the Town Clerk’s Office. Dogs are required to be licensed at 6 months of age. The licensing period commences on January 1 and ends on December 31. License fees are $25.00 for male and female dogs, and $5.00 for spayed female and neutered male dogs.
  
  A fine of $25.00 per dog is assessed for dogs not registered on or before April 5, 2007.
  
  Licensing may be done by mail by completing the dog licenses request form.
