In February 2007, my husband Rick and I became the first California DoodyCalls franchise owners.

Rick is a graduate of the College of San Mateo, and started his professional career in renewable energy in the 1980s. In addition to owning DoodyCalls, he also manufactures neuro surgery clips.

I have been running an educational day camp for children for the past 21 years and recently finished writing the book How to Build Your Own Successful and Profitable Home Day Care Business that provides lessons learned, guidance, and systems to help entrepreneurs run successful day care business.

Helping children in our community has been a rewarding part of our lives and Rick is a volunteer at the Police Activities League (P.A.L.) boxing program.

DoodyCalls seemed like a perfect new business for us because of the company’s commitment of giving back to the local community and the incredible demand for the services we provide.

Each of our technicians has successfully completed a full background check and is friendly, responsible, always in uniform, and loves dogs.

We are also members the Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists (aPaws). aPaws is the only national trade organization devoted to helping entrepreneurs build successful and integrity based pet waste removal businesses.

Our service helps our clients spend more quality time with their pets and less time picking up what they leave behind—and makes our environment cleaner.
